Joining Instructions

The Seminar Reception (September 29), is to be held the night before the first day (September 30), between 6.30-8.30pm at the RMIT Gallery. The Gallery is next door to RMIT Storey Hall and part of the same building, no. 16.

HOTEL IBIS
The address is 15 - 21Therry Street, and it is physically situated between Swanston and Elizabeth streets. The phone number is 9639 2399.

TAXIS
Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport. Expect to pay around A$30-40 for the 30-40 minute trip into the centre of Melbourne.

SKYBUS
SkyBus operates 24 hours a day between the Airport and the city centre. It is possible to plan your trip online at the Skybus website.

Skybus' Melbourne Airport service operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. For most of the day, coaches leave every 15 minutes. A one-way fare costs $13. In some instances, for passengers travelling to the airport, that includes a rail fare to the Spencer Street terminal. Outside of peak-hour the SKybus website advises that the airport-city journey takes no more than 20 minutes, although I would suspect more like 30-40 minutes.

Skybus operates a complimentary hotel/motel delivery and pick-up service. On arrival in the CBD, visitors board a mini bus at our Spencer Street station terminal which then takes them to their hotel or motel. As people leave Melbourne, we pick them up and take them to the airport. In both instances, the service is free of charge. TRAIN
If arriving by Train, you will presumably get off at Spencer St Station. Get on the underground and take the train to Melbourne Central Station (formerly Museum). Exit via Swanston St and using map of RMIT City you will see that RMIT University is diagonally opposite you. Storey Hall is building 16 on your map.

CAR
If arriving by Car you can find parking near Storey Hall in Car Parks on either Cardigan St, Stewart St or A'Beckett St and find Storey Hall Building 16 is a short walk from there.

CAR RENTAL
Car rental companies have offices in the international and domestic terminal areas as well as on the ground floor of the short term carpark.
